founded Daehong Technew Corporation in 1988 in Korea
and he is President & CEO of the company. DK specialized
in chemical engineering at the National Seoul University.
He has been showing remarkable ability & activities
since he started a business for semiconductor and LCD
business. For over 20 years, DK has achieved success
in every business that he participated by showing his
superior ability in the areas of sales and marketing.
Daehong Technew is doing a business that supplying
materials for Semiconductor/LCD manufacturers and it
has made a lot of prominent results as a Korean exclusive
business partner for Mallinckrodt in USA, ShinEtsu Handotai,
and ShinEtsu Chemical in Japan.
In 1995, DK founded Clean Factomation Inc. in Korea that is a joint venture
company with the Japanese Daifuku group and it develops
and produces numbers of AMHS(Automated Material Handling
System) for semiconductor/LCD factory and it shows 50%
of growth rate every year. Also, DK set up a joint venture
company with American Matheson Tri-Gas in 1997 and the
company produces specialty gas for Semiconductor/LCD
manufacturing. In 2001, DK established Calcor Exim Corp.
in San Francisco, USA and then he has invested and entered
into partnership with high-tech IT/Communication companies
in Silicon Valley. Currently, Calcor Exim is obtaining
excellent results from over ten companies. DK and his
company Daehong Technew Corp.are aggressively investing
tech start-up in Silicon Valley and made investments
to 6 companies. DK is currently a board member of DualCor
and his portfolio companies. Mr. Kim received his BS
in Chemical Engineering from Seoul University, Seoul,
Korea.
